Donald Trump praises King Charles III.

In stark contrast to yesterday’s satirical posting (“The Orange One in London”) Hannah Furness, The Telegraph’s Royal editor, wrote about Donald Trump’s speech at the state banquet at Windsor Castle, that this was “the most heartfelt and effective speech I have ever heard at a state banquet like this“.
The president delivered a heartfelt personal tribute to King Charles III, saying he “epitomised the fortitude, nobility and the spirit of the British monarchy and the British people”.
The speech, at the state banquet on 17 September, raised broad smiles from the Royal family and their 160 guests after a day of military spectacle.
The King, for his part, raised a laugh, saying that George Washington and George III could not possibly have imagined such scenes.
