Declan Rice, Legend
Declan Rice has become a real leader not only in West Ham’s team, but also for his country.

On Thursday England played Hungary in Budapest. The Ferenc Puskás Stadium isn’t an easy place to come and play, and it was a hard fought game in a hostile atmosphere. The result (4-0) doesn’t reflect how difficult it was before the Hungarian team’s resistance was broken in the second half, and Declan scored the last goal of the game – his first for the Three Lions.

Declan showed real leadership skills in this match, strongly denounced the racist chanting and hostile behaviour of the crowd. And when he picked up a cup that had been thrown from the stands by people I loathe to call fans, he had a a swig of bear, too! Declan really was the fearless leader of this gang. Man of the match!

Now bring on Dinamo, Genk and Rapid Vienna away. The sky’s the limit for this boy!
Come on you Irons!
