Football is simply the greatest escape in the world. Those few hours with your family, friends or whoever else it may be all your problems disappear. It’s a release for hundreds of thousands of people every week that can’t be matched by anything else.

Having talked about nothing else than the war in Ukraine since we got up this morning, now on Sunday afternoon it’s Rapid Vienna finally moving to the forefront:

In the Allianz Stadium they play Austria Klagenfurt in a game that must be won by Rapid to qualify for the champion‘s play-off of the Austrian Bundesliga. Their opponents are Austria Klagenfurt, managed by Peter Pacult. It was with him at the helm that Rapid won their last Austrian championship in 2008.

Now the Green-Whites have to beat Pacult‘s boys. Come on, Rapid: Kämpfen und siegen!
