Europa League upcoming…

This week will see West Ham back in European action, therefore you’ll find the Europa League dates. With back to back wins in the last two games, optimism is around again before the third game against Freiburg this season in Thursday night.
The Hammers have to travel to Germany first and will be hosted by a side which has drawn 2-2 with Bayern Munich last weekend and defeated Lens in the play-off round of the Europa League in February. Though, apart from these results, the German outfit has not had the best of results so far in 2024: they have lost to Augsburg, Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen and drawn with Eintracht Frankfurt recently, and their only win in February came against Lens in European competition.
I think Freiburg, which are ninth in the Bundesliga, are more or less on par with West Ham, but the momentum could be with the Hammers after two wins in the last two games. Well, it can go either way…. We‘ll find out if all these dates above are going to be of particular importance for West Ham
